1982 Mongoose BMX Bike Old School

1982 Mongoose BMX Bike Old School. I found this amazing 1982 Mongoose and restored it to its original beauty.  I upgraded the wheels to a set of Skyway Tuff II's with a new 16 tooth freewheel and new red/gum side wall BMX COMP3 tires and tubes.  The bike now has Kool Stop brake pads and a MX brake lever and rear brake.  There is a new Velo  VL-117 lightning bolt seat on a new chrome seat post.  Wellgo bear trap pedals have been put on.  All bearings have been replaced and there is a new KMC S1 chain. The original Mongoose stamped headset, seat clamp, 44 tooth sprocket, Pro Class stem and frame are all in terrific shape, as shown in the photos.  To complete the final look, era appropriate prism decals have been placed.  This bike would be a great addition to any collector or anyone wanting to re-live their 80s BMX days!
